When you walk into Tree of Life Church, you can expect a warm welcome, a friendly atmosphere, a multi generational congregation, and a fairly casual setting. Our worship is a mix of old and new, and follows a pattern of scripture readings, prayers, biblical preaching, and communion. We expect the Holy Spirit to be present to heal, guide, and direct as we worship the Lord.
We meet on Sundays at 10:30 AM and worship runs about an hour and a quarter.
Our children participate with us in worship until the sermon and then 4 year olds through 5th graders are dismissed for KidsAlive! where they engage in age appropriate bible learning, activities, and prayer. After the sermon and prayers, the children rejoin the rest of the congregation for communion.
What about Toddlers and Infants?
We have Toddler/Infant child care available after the third song and scripture reading in our opening set. Toddlers and infants must be checked in. Parents can check them out during communion.
All childcare volunteers are background checked and safety trained.
We worship most Sundays at a beautiful wedding and events venue called the Twin Oaks Barn at 6644 Cornwallis Rd., Garner.
Some Sundays, due to previously scheduled events, we worship at an alternate location which gets posted on our newsletter, website, and announced in our church service.
Temporary signs are posted each Sunday on the road outside of our church service indicating our logo, name, and service time, with arrows pointing in the direction of the building.
